School review

This school really is terrible. Sure it has some good teachers but I have been here since Year 7 and since then it has been a downward slide. Not only did Ofsted fail to notice the school put on a performance during the inspection in 2007, but the school fail to notice how terrible some of their teachers are at their jobs. I'm now in year 11 and nothing has changed. The well behaved people are expected to be that way, and the naughty people are ignored once they disrupt their class. This isn't fair and makes the people who behave all the time feel completely unnoticed. On top of this there is the "Tom Daley Being Bullied" incident. Well, in my view he wouldn't have been bullied if Ms Borowski hadn't dragged his name up in every assembly she hosts (Usually this is only one assembly a year, although this year we have had none!). She drones on about how good Tom Daley is...does she not realise that it is HIS fame, not her own? It makes us resent Tom, and therefore she has brought the bullying towards him on herself. Not only that but she is never seen. I have seen her twice since September... Once in a Sixth Form Open evening and another in a parents evening... Maybe if she stepped out her office to motivate her students and make us feel equal she would have a better working school.

I honestly haven't rated my time at Eggbuckland very highly and i would recommend not sending your child to this school. They will share my opinion.
