General information
Background: Amalgamated with Braeside Nursery and Infant School in September 2005; currently operating on two sites; new school to be built by 2008. Play spaces consist of a one-pitch playing field, grassed areas, ample tarmac areas and an adventure playground called the 'Fun Zone'. After-school activties include football, netball, hockey, badminton, drama, and film-making. Support for many charities; link with school in Sri Lanka that was destroyed by tsunami. Eco-school Green Flag award. Ethos: 'The school aims to create a positive learning environment, with an ethos of achievement and high expectations in terms of effort and behaviour. Pupils are involved in school decision-making and pastoral care.' .
