General information
Background: Bucksburn School is situated on the south side of Inverurie Road at the junction of Howes Road. It is comprised of two buildings on a tiered level site. It is surrounded by a combination of grassed and all weather play areas for infants, juniors and senior pupils. The accommodation consists of eight classrooms, a hall with a stage, medical room, offices and kitchen surrounding an enclosed patio in the main building. There is also a separate building with a large nursery room within the school site. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. The school also participates in the Aberdeen City Primary Schools Football Leagues. The school aims to provide a friendly, secure and happy environment in which all pupils can achieve their potential.
