Background: Kincorth Academy is a fully comprehensive, non-denominational, secondary school located to the south of Aberdeen serving the Kincorth, Altens and Cove areas. Its five associated primary schools are Abbotswell, Charleston, Craighill, Loriston and Kirkhill. Sporting Activities are available from football to netball and basketball. The school run teams at all age groups and compete in the local school leagues and national competitions catering for boys and girls. Outdoor Activities range from Mountain biking, orienteering, hill walking, ski-ing and camping expeditions to Kayaking which is introduced in the safe environment of the swimming pool, graduating on to white-water kayaking on the River Dee. .
