Background: Victoria Road School was opened in 1878. It is an historic building, being the first school built in the Torry area. The school occupies a sloping site between Victoria Road to the South, and Abbey Road to the North, giving magnificent views of the Harbour and the North Sea. The building comprises of a nursery wing, family room, mother and baby Room, dining and servery room. There are 15 teaching rooms. various resource rooms, including medical room and I.T. room are available.
