General information
Background: An open-plan school, built in 1978 and situated in a housing estate about one and a half miles from the centre of Peterhead, the largest white fishing port in Europe. Many extra-curricular activities include homework club, chess, othello, football, netball and choir. Senior citizens are invited to the school's Harvest and Christmas concerts. The school has developed links with a children's home in India, where it sponsors children. It also has links with a school in New York State, and three reciprocal visits have so far taken place. Dales Park offers a special educational needs (SEN) base with an early intervention teacher and two class assistants.
