Background: Housed in premises which were refurbished and modernised in summer 1999, and set in beautiful rural surroundings, the school's catchment area is the whole of the Angus glen of Glenisla. It has 'close links' with the community with which it has a mutually supportive relationship. Visiting specialists teach music, art and PE and a learning support teacher visits weekly. Every year the school participates in one week of ski instruction at Glenshee, and pupils 'regularly' win trophies at local events. .
