General information
Background: St Joseph's Catholic Primary School was founded in 1935. It is a Voluntary Aided Mixed Primary Day School, established principally to serve the Catholic children whose families practise their faith at the Holy Family Parish in Dagenham. Religious education is a central part of school life. Personal, social and health education is also provided as part of a comprehensive programme. The school choir occasionally sings at special parish events during the school day or on Sundays. The school assists the children to grow in knowledge and commitment in order that they will become people who appreciate and live according to the beliefs of the Catholic Church.
