General information
Background: Menorah Primary was founded in 1944 and granted voluntary aided status in 1971. A new wing added to the existing purpose-built complex in 1999. Over-subscribed. The school aims to achieve a high standard in both secular and Jewish education. There are strong links with the local community, choirs and instrumentalists entertain at old people's homes, pupils participate in assemblies in local special schools and there is a local fete. Sports are encouraged with participation in inter-school football and netball, sponsered swims and walks. In addition there are after-school activities such as chess and school choir festivals.
