General information

Background: St John's CofE Primary School is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is four to 11. In a planned programme of activities, children experience a wide range of software, CD-ROMs, the internet and an increasing variety of peripherals including digital cameras and scanners. The school aims to provide all children with the opportunity to develop their musical skills within class music lessons. All clubs are well attended and the children are eager to learn and develop new skills. These clubs are lead on a voluntary basis by teachers and parents. By offering a variety of sporting activities St John's aims to develop children's health, fitness and an enjoyment of sport. The school aims for its pupils to appreciate and understand that the example and teachings of Christ provide a model for a caring and fulfilling life.
