General information

Background: Bexleyheath School is a secondary school and sixth form for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 11 to 18. The school is on two sites sharing a common playing field area. Construction of a new school is currently well underway. This involves a complete rebuild of the lower school and substantial new accommodation for the upper school including new science laboratories and a dedicated expressive arts centre which will be built around a brand new concert hall. Refurbishment of its existing design technology workshops and sports areas will take place during the project. The latter, together with the building of a new gymnasium and existing ?Goals' facility will significantly enhance what is seen as one of the strengths of the school. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. The school values and supports learning, instilling pride in self, school, and community, recognising the worth of each individual. .
