Background: Archbishop Ilsley Catholic School is a secondary school and sixth form for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 11-18. It has some excellent facilities for sport and Astroturf pitch, a sports hall and a gymnasium. The school curriculum has core subjects including religious education, English, mathematics and foundation subjects including art, business, citizenship, design and technology, drama, French, geography, health and social care, history, information and communication technology, manufacturing, media studies, music and physical education.
