General information
Background: The Oaks Primary School opened in 1976 and is situated on 'extensive' grounds with 'secure' play areas. The brick buildings have open plan classrooms with resource bays. Pupils are currently designing and painting a series of murals around the school grounds. Sports include rounders, netball, cricket , football and swimming. After school activities include computer club and recorder club as well as sports training. The Oaks School supports local and national charities and the Friends of the Oaks Association provides social and fundraising events. .
