General information
Background: The school is situated by the village green in the beautiful rural setting of Denholm in the Scottish Borders. The school was originally built as a junior secondary school and consequently it has ample space and excellent gym facilities. The village of Denholm is situated in a beautiful part of Teviotdale in the Scottish Borders, about halfway between the towns of Hawick and Jedburgh. It lies in gentle rolling countryside between Ruberslaw and the Minto Hills, volcanic outcrops that thrust up through the underlying Old Red Sandstone. Staff provides a range of activities both during school and at the end of the school day. Many sporting activities are on offer at various times of the year such as netball, hockey, badminton, football, golf and cricket. The school aims to provide a safe and pleasant environment for effective learning.
