General information
Background: Earlston Primary is a mixed, non-denominational primary school providing primary education for pupils from three to 12 years from Earlston and district. The school is housed in one building, which is attached to Earlston High School. The infant department consists of four classrooms, a central library/activity area, and a general-purpose room. Three upper primary classes are linked to a central resource area and there are three self-contained classrooms. Other facilities include a small hall, the learning support base, behaviour support base, a music room and a teacher?s resource area and the Earlston Hearing Resource. A wide range of opportunities is available to pupils outside normal class time. These are only possible because members of staff are willing to give up their own time to lead these activities. The school aims to offer a happy, safe and secure environment in a family atmosphere.
