Background: Peebles High School founded in 1858 as Bonnington Park Academy and now serves the town of Peebles and villages in Tweeddale in the Scottish Borders. The millennium building has been designed for education in the 21st century for the pupils and the school has well equipped learning resource centre. It also provides vocational courses such as hairdressing, construction and beauty. The school offers the opportunity for all pupils to achieve success. Pupils are taught how to make the most of their talent in a challenging and supportive environment. The school provides various sporting activities such as rugby, hockey, volleyball, football, athletics and netball dancing. The school aims to provide a safe and pleasant environment for effective learning.
