Background: Carlton Bolling College is a secondary school and sixth form for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 11 to 18. The school aims to provide broad and balanced curriculum. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. The faculty of performing arts provides opportunities in dance, drama and music. Music clubs are available outside normal teaching hours and there are peripatetic music teachers who give individual tuition. There are sports clubs and sports teams in all years. Students can choose from soccer, cricket, basketball, athletics, badminton, rounders and dance.
