General information
Background: The school is co-educational and caters for children aged three to 11 years. The school, which is dedicated to Mary, the Mother of God, held its first classes around 1868, and changed its name to St Mary?, in 1892. When the school was set-up, its purpose was to provide a thoroughly Christian education for the children of Catholic families living mainly in and around South Kilburn. This is still its purpose. The school is running several after-school activities: Mark Dyson Multi Sport, French classes and drama. Saint Mary's RC Primary School is a Christian community where the spirit of Jesus Christ pervades all aspects of school life.
