General information

Background: The Swaminarayan School was founded in 1991 by His Divine Holiness Shree Pramukh Swami Maharaj. Religious education is based largely on Hinduism but gives attention to all world religions. The school's sports facilities include two indoor cricket nets, a netball court, a well equipped gym and shared grounds at the rear of the gymnasium. At the end of each year there is a sports day inter-house competition, and all pupils may take part. There is an active Parents, Teachers and Friends association. It raises funds for the school and organises celebrations of major religious festivals. .
