General information

Inspection: January 2006: 'The Adina School provides outstanding education and care for its pupils. Pupils' academic, personal and social developments are promoted highly effectively within a nurturing yet challenging educational environment. The school achieves its aims of delivering a curriculum that facilitates the development of sensory learning and provides full access to the National Curriculum subject areas at an appropriate level. Staffs are well qualified, committed, and enthusiastic about their work and the progress that the pupils make. Teaching, and as a consequence pupil learning and achievement, is at least good and often outstanding. The seamless work of the care and education staff is a major factor in raising pupils' personal development and educational achievements. Since the last report information and communications technology (ICT) is used well across the curriculum, but the computers, associated peripherals and software are out-of-date. The school has identified this as a need, but no decision has yet been made by the proprietor with regard to funding.' .
