Inspection: May 2001: 'Brighton and Hove High School is a member of the Girls? Day School Trust (GDST, ?the Trust?). It is a very good school with high academic standards and a most caring attitude towards all its pupils. Both of these qualities are greatly strengthened by the relaxed but courteous relationships between teachers and pupils and by the notable readiness of the girls to help each other whenever it is needed. With the very few exceptions, the curriculum is broad and balanced and all pupils have equal access to it. Resources are good, and excellent support is given by non-teaching staff.'
