Background: Carden Primary is a newly amalgamated school. The building, which was the first school to be built in Europe after the Second World War, has been subject to recent refurbishment. Facilities include playing fields, a swimming pool and a computer suite. The school has a 100 place nursey department. The school has an active parent-teacher association and involves itself in charity fundraising.
