General information

Background: Hove Park School provides high quality education for all young people in the age range 11-18 years. It has excellent facilities and a talented, committed and well-qualified staff team. Religious education is provided for all students in accordance with the education authority's agreed syllabus that was adopted following extensive discussion with Church authorities. The school provides a wide range of opportunities for students to become involved in extra-curricular activities. It has established a strong reputation for music and drama, providing opportunities for students to appear "on stage" in the school musical and/or a major dramatic production. It has both junior and senior orchestras and choirs, brass and wind groups and other specialist peripatetic music staff. It has been awarded the Artsmark Silver Award in recognition of its excellence across its arts subjects. In sport it offers a wide range of opportunity for students' involvement at various levels. Teams represent the school in rugby, soccer, netball, rounders, cross-country running, athletics and cricket. Inter-form competitions and the annual "Sports Day" provide opportunities for all students to be involved. The school is a supportive, caring and exciting place to learn.
