General information
Background: The Parish Church of England Primary School, founded in 1716, is the London Borough of Bromley's oldest educational establishment. In September 1986 the school transferred to a renovated 18th century mansion known as Plaistow Lodge. The site has five acres of land including a wooded area and a pond. Sports facilities include a gym, a hall, a playground and a field for physical activities. The parish provides a wide range of extra-curricular activities such as sports, drama, ICT, gymnastics and French. Music is strongly encouraged and the school has an orchestra, a string quartet, a choir and a wind band. The parish supports local and national charities and has strong links with the local community.
