General information

Background: Originally built in 1856 with additions from the 1960's and 1970's, the school benefits from a rural setting. Facilities include 'well-equipped' classrooms, a hall, dining area, two libraries, a playing field and heated learner swimming pool, and an ICT suite was recently installed. It is enriched by a close association with St Dunstan's Church and offers a range of extra-curricular activities to develop musical, sporting and artistic talents. The school also takes part in the annual country dancing festival. Day visits are organised for pupuls, and there are residential visits to an environmental studies centre in Chalfont St Giles and and an activity centre in the Isle of Wight. There is a 'very experienced' special educational needs co-ordinator (SENCO) and children with more specific needs might visit the Progress Centre at Ickfield or receive additional support.
