General information

Background: Christ Church is a Church of England Junior School for children aged seven to 11 situated on the fringe of its catchment area, drawing children predominantly from houses located near the centre of Sowerby Bridge. The school is housed in a single-storey building. There are five classrooms a main hall and a stage area owned by the Church. There is an extensive area of grass, which is used for a variety of sporting activities and two playgrounds. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include football, netball, cricket, hockey and rugby. The school aims to provide a safe and pleasant environment for effective learning.
