General information

Background: Cragg Vale Junior and Infant School was founded in 1887. It is a small, rural primary school taking children from the neighbouring town of ?Mytholmroyd? and Cragg Vale village. The school has recently been part of the national Year 2/3 white board pilot and now has interactive white boards in all three classrooms. There is internet access for all pupils and a website has recently been established. These are very close links with the local community. Children participate in a variety of local sporting events and there is an excellent art club run by parent volunteers. The school is small, friendly and welcoming. All children and adults know each other well. Older children take care of younger children.
