Background: Barnabas Oley School is situated in the village of Great Gransden and is named after Rev'd Barnabas Oley who founded the school in 1670. The school is part of the Cambridgeshire LEA its catchment area includes Great and Little Gransdens and Waresley. The school follows the national curriculum core subjects in English, Maths and Science and the foundation subjects of Art, geography, history, ICT, music, physical education and design technology. The school provides a wide range of extra-curricular activities including: football, netball, basketball, tennis, rounders and cricket. .
