General information
Headteacher: Neil Roskilly, appointed in September 1982.
Staff: 23 (men 19, women 4).
Background: Founded in 1981, most students join Cambridge Centre at 16 for two-year A-level courses in a wide range of subjects. The centre also provides a one-year GCSE course and a third-year sixth. Two-thirds of its students board; more than half come from overseas. .
Alumni: Jade Jagger, model, daughter of Rolling Stone Mick Jagger.
Streaming/setting: Only in mathematics.
Approach to discipline: Lots of discussion and discipline which is agreed to be right for the age and issues concerned.
Uniform: No uniform.
Homework: Average 16-year-old, 15 hours a week.
Higher education: 93% (0 Oxford 2 Cambridge).
Special needs: Experienced in helping students with mild academic special needs (dyslexia etc)..
