General information
Background: John Paxton Junior School is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is four to 11. Computers are used across the entire curriculum, and are used for word processing, data handling, modelling and graphics. Children also have access to a CD Rom and the internet. The school aims to encourage all children to develop musical skills through performing, composing, singing and listening. Children are given the opportunity to develop their physical ability through a range of athletic activities, dance, games and gymnastic activities. The school aims to develop a positive partnership between home and school and to create an environment that will develop a child's self esteem and sense of responsibility.
