Background: Opened in 1913; extension and new-build refurbishment in 2004; semi-rural location on edge of Ellesmere Port, with mixed catchment area. Strong family ethos 'where excellence and enjoyment reign'. Spanish and French taught. Football, tennis and basketball throughout school; national and county honours. Art project work exhibited at National Gallery; annual open-air Shakespeare play performed by Year 6. Annual fundraising events for charities for guide dogs, children, and local causes.
