Background: Situated in delightful rural setting, four miles south of Macclesfield; well-appointed, purpose-built one-form entry school comprising seven traditional classrooms, hall and library; surrounded by attractive borders and extensive playing field. It is 'excellently resourced' with reading books, ICT, science and sports equipment. Proud of 'happy caring environment' and high level of achievement. Wide range of educational opportunities of academic and recreational nature on offer during normal school day and in after-school clubs; science links with local high school and Zeneca, a computer club, inter-school sports: football, hockey, rounders, netball, cricket, lacrosse, athletics, swimming, cross country, outdoor pursuits, music clubs, musical productions, choir, country dancing and French (KS2).
