General information
Background: Previously the Girls' Grammar School for Crewe, the school became co-educational when it turned comprehensive in the 1970s. Facilities are good for craft, design and technology, and there are many sporting successes, particularly in soccer and cricket. The school has a 'very strong link' with the Children in Need charity. The standard of drama productions is 'very high' and in 2001 the school's interpretation of Guys and Dolls was performed at the Lyceum Theatre in Crewe. A caring school which demands high levels of effort, behaviour and achievement from its members.
