Background: Quintin Kynaston School, popularly known as 'QK', is a state-maintained secondary school in St John's Wood, close to the centre of London. The school has over 300 computers, all with high-speed broadband Internet connection, a large multimedia library and advanced aids such as interactive whiteboards. The school has excellent facilities including three gymnasia, a sports hall, drama centre, dance studio, music suite, four fully equipped ICT rooms and a multimedia library. It provides a wide range of extra-curricular activities including: netball, football, basketball, rugby and cricket. The school maintains broad and balanced curriculum. it provides lunchtime and after-school activities. It provides a variety of opportunities to enhance learning. The school aims to develop the best in every student through the excellent teaching of a broad and challenging curriculum in a supportive and technologically advanced environment.
