General information
Background: Bishop Cornish was founded in 1978 and named after the first Bishop of St Germans. It is set in 'extensive' grounds overlooking the River Tamor and Brunel Bridge in Saltash. Pupils can choose from a wide range of musical opportunities and there is a fine orchestra and assorted choirs. Children enter local county and national sporting events including cross-country, athletics, rugby, football and swimming. Extra-curricular activities available include art club, drama, football, netball, rugby, orchestra, choir, stamp club and recorders. The school supports a child in the Third World and children organise events to raise funds for this school and local charities.
