General information
Inspection: December 2003: 'Highfields Private School is a very good small independent school which fulfils successfully its aim of developing the individual. It cares well for its pupils and provides a safe, effective and happy learning environment for all its pupils. It has great strengths. Pupils and staff form a strong, lively and caring community where ease of access and communication enable them to work together within and outside the classroom. The head teacher leads by example in all aspects of the school's life and she is well supported by her fellow proprietor, who acts as school secretary. Together they ensure the successful running of the school's administration and daily routine. Indication of the effectiveness of the school's teamwork is the glowing testimony of pupils who have come from other schools. They comment on the positive impact of the school's induction process which provides them with a sense of security. They enjoy school and appreciate the attention given to their individual needs.'
