General information

Background: Coulsdon CofE Primary School was founded in 1888, and is affiliated to local parish church of St John's. The school still occupies its original site. Netball and rounders are played in the playground, while facilities at nearby Grange Park allow for football, cricket and athletics. Parents run a Saturday-morning football club. Extra-curricular music provision includes violin, and pupils take part in local choral services. School trips include visits to farms, museums and theatres, and there are residential trip for juniors. The school is keen to emphasise its ethos as a Christian community and to promote good relationships between pupils, staff, parents, church and the community accordingly.
