General information
Background: Coulsdon High School is a newly-designated Technology College which offers specialist education for the 11 to 16 age range. The school has new music suites and refurbished design and technology areas. There is one computer for every seven students. Specialist features include a learning resource area equipped with information and communications technology (ICT) facilities, internet access and network access to all classrooms, 12 interactive white boards, science resources with new data logging equipment, new technology areas with CAD/CAM suite, a specialist drama studio and staging for performances, a sports hall and gymnasium, and art and photography studios. Available sports include cricket, tennis, rugby, tennis, basketball, athletics, gymnastics, swimming, aerobics, hockey, trampolining, netball and dance. Students compete in inter-school fixtures and house competitions. .
