General information
Background: Many small villages and the nearby market town of Penrith make up the catchment area of the school, which has a large sports field in its spacious grounds. It places much emphasis on personal skills, such as communication and caring for others, and a strong commitment to provide a high-quality curriculum with breadth. Children with special needs are supported with carefully-planned educational programmes. There are links with local secondary schools so able children can be stretched; annual musical productions; active football and netball teams. PTA has raised more than #3,000 towards charity initiative.
