General information

Background: St John's CofE (Aided) Primary School is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is four to 11. All children are offered a broad, balanced, differentiated and relevant curriculum. The children are given the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and knowledge through specific ICT lessons, and through other curriculum areas. Extra-curricular music is offered through the teaching of the recorder and all children are assesses for their aptitude to learn either the violin or a brass instrument. The number of clubs and activities that take place at lunchtime and after-school at different times during the year is a real strength of the school. The school aims to create a safe, happy and caring learning environment, where everyone is valued as a unique individual.
