General information
Background: Parkview Primary School was opened in 1999. The school site has playing fields and play areas. There are seven classrooms, a nursery, hall, and library/community room and computer suite. Extra-curricular activities include gymnastics, violin, drum, flute, clarinet, brass, netball, cricket, football, gardening, choir, design technology, art and drama, ICT, and magic. The school has achieved Artsmark; Artsmark Silver (2004); Investor in People status (2006); DfES achievement award (2003 and 2004). The school aims to provide a friendly family atmosphere, which will encourage learning and make it possible for each child to fulfil his or her potential. .
