General information

Background: Burbage Primary moved to its present location in 1967 and is situated in 'pleasant' grounds. Pupils are drawn from Burbage and the surrounding area, although 'some do come from further afield'. The school's music curriculum is worthy of 'particular note' and specialist instrumental tuition is also available. Extra-curricular sporting and performing arts activities are offered. A breakfast club operates from 7.50am daily and a pupil collection service is provided by a local playgroup after school. The small number of pupils with special educational needs (SEN) are supported by the SEN co-ordinator. .
