General information
Background: Bratton Fleming Community Primary School is located in the beautiful village of Bratton Fleming, on the edge of Exmoor, North Devon. The school is eight miles north of Barnstaple, the regional capital. The school, which was modernised in 1993, is set in large grounds with breathtaking views. It have on average one hundred pupils who are taught in four classes. The school offers various subjects such as: work in art/craft, design and technology, geography, history, information and communications technology, music, Physical Education (which includes games, gymnastics, dance and swimming), religious and personal and social education. The school plays a variety of sports, these include football, rugby, cricket, tennis and hockey. The school has a hall equipped with wall bars, ropes and other gymnastics equipment. It has a large playing field with a recently constructed adventure playground, also a large flat playground with a rebound wall. This is marked out with three small courts and one netball court.
