General information

Background: Auckley is a junior, infant and nursery school in a village about six miles to the east of Doncaster. The school has on roll approximately 210 boys and girls in the four to 11 years age range and the children are generally grouped according to age. The school has a wide range of extra-curricular activities including rugby, kwik cricket, basketball, netball and hockey. The school curriculum covers the following subjects: mathematics, English, science, information and communication technology, history, geography, technology, physical education, music, art and religious education. The school aims to provide a secure and happy environment in which the atmosphere and conditions are such as to allow children to develop a practical understanding of their role in society, respect for moral values, other people and themselves.
