General information

Background: Hungerhill School was opened in 1976 as a co-educational comprehensive school. It is a highly successful and popular school with an excellent reputation, both in the local community and the wider area. There is a well stocked, up-to-date careers/guidance library where students have access at lunchtime, breaks and after-school. The school has strong and developing links with local industry. The school provides a broad range of activities to enrich the lives of the students and enhance their learning experiences. These include various study visits, sports clubs, Spanish club, drama productions, fiddle band and many others.
