General information

Background: All Saints is a non-selective Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School which caters for boys and girls between the ages of four and 11. The buildings complex was erected in the 1970s and has renovated and had modifications to its layout in the intervening years. The school is a small school in terms of the extent of its buildings and pupil numbers; it stands in extensive grounds. Within these grounds the school has its own playing fields, an outdoor swimming pool, an all-weather play area for the older children with a separate play area for the younger children containing outdoor play equipment, a large pergola area with seating, a pond and a wild life zone. Staff organise various activities for the benefit of the children. These activities which are chiefly musical and sporting take place at lunch time or after-school. The school curriculum has three core subjects: English, mathematics and science and seven foundation subjects: information and communication technology, design technology, art and design, history, geography, music and physical education. The school is a happy caring school which aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice.
