General information
Background: Consett Junior School was opened in 1975 as a modern purpose-built open plan school. The school serves the town of Consett and also attracts pupils from Delves Lane, Shotley Bridge, Blackhill, Moorside and Leadgate. The schools tree lined grounds include a large play yard as well as football, rugby and cricket pitches. The school is proud of its high academic, technical, artistic and sporting achievements in an environment where learning is an enjoyable and rewarding experience. .
