General information

Background: Leadgate Junior School opened in 1975. There are four teaching units, an ICT room, a library and resource area. The school has extensive playing fields. There are approximately 105 children on roll and classes are organised on the basis of age. The school seeks to provide pupils with a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum matched to individual needs. It has a large hall well equipped hall and extensive playing fields. Teams participate in football, cross-country, swimming, kwik cricket, athletics, rugby and tennis competitions and festivals. The school seeks to provide a secure, stimulating and challenging environment where children can develop intellectually, socially, emotionally, physically and aesthetically.
