General information
Background: St Xavier's Primary School has been in existence for some number of years originally being housed within Saint Francis Xavier Parish Church at Waterside. The school was relocated to its present site in the 1960's where it continues to serve the denominational population of the local area. In February 2001 the school was granted Investor in People status by Enterprise Ayrshire in recognition of the school's commitment to staff development. The school aims to develop the personality, talents and mental and physical abilities of each child to their fullest potential.
