General information
Background: Crookfur Primary School is situated in Newton Mearns in East Renfrewshire Council. The school has excellent links with the local community and has a very supportive school board and parent teacher association. The school operates a policy of inclusion and equality and so have two Special Educational Needs (SEN) assistants and six classroom assistants. In September 2003, the school was awarded the Dyslexia Friendly School Award. The school aims to provide a happy and safe environment, where pupils will be encouraged and helped to reach their potential. .
